A couple of these pitchers would be a perfect accessory for a long brunch or other party where beverages need to stay fresh for hours or longer. I poured steaming hot coffee into this pot one evening, and at noon the next day a cup poured from the pitcher was still hot. Its "press and pour" design is also a major improvement over many carafe designs--just press a button and pour the right amount of coffee, with no drips.
